Texture refined. Movement respected.
For clients who want smoother-looking skin, softer fine lines and a polished finish—with a skin-focused approach that prioritizes subtle refinement and natural-looking expression.
At Novaréne, medical microneedling is paired with a separately performed, clinician-directed Microtox step. The treatment is customized around visible pores, oiliness, fine lines and uneven texture for subtle, natural-looking refinement.
At a glance
Treatment: Medical microneedling plus a precise superficial neuromodulator technique
Designed for: Visible pores, oiliness, uneven texture and fine lines
Approach: Personalized, minimally invasive and non-surgical
Plan: One treatment or a series based on your goals and response
A smoother, more refined finish
Two precise treatments, thoughtfully combined. The goal is skin that looks smoother, fresher and more polished—while still looking like you.
- Smoother-looking skin with a more refined overall texture.
- A softer appearance of visible pores and selected fine lines.
- A fresher, more balanced finish when excess surface oiliness is a concern.
- A personalized treatment planned for subtle improvement and natural-looking expression.
Results vary, and not every concern responds the same way. Your consultation will determine whether this combination is appropriate for your skin, medical history and goals.
What to expect
Your clinician identifies the skin concern, names the selected neuromodulator and explains the exact route and sequence before consent. After cleansing and numbing when appropriate, microneedling is performed with a sterile single-use cartridge. The Microtox step is performed separately according to the clinical plan.
Downtime and results
Microneedling can cause redness, tightness, dryness, peeling, bruising, discomfort or pinpoint bleeding. The neuromodulator can cause localized weakness, asymmetry, eyelid or brow drooping, altered smile or speech, dry eye, headache or other product-specific effects. Infection, pigment change, scarring and an unsatisfactory result are also possible.
Treatment candidacy
Microneedling with Microtox may be considered for carefully selected adults focused on pore appearance, fine lines or texture who understand that the evidence is limited and results are not predictable. Your clinician reviews skin health, healing history, prior neuromodulator treatment, medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies and neuromuscular, swallowing or breathing concerns before deciding whether to proceed.
† Product-use note: Microtox is a descriptive technique rather than a labeled cosmetic indication. The medication is administered separately; the microneedling device is not used to deliver it. Your clinician names the selected prescription product and reviews its full safety information before consent.

Microtox questions
Is Microtox the same as traditional neuromodulator treatment?
No. Traditional cosmetic treatment uses intramuscular placement. Microtox refers to a more superficial, low-volume technique with different evidence and risks.
Is Microtox a brand?
No. It is a technique description. The actual neuromodulator product is named and reviewed during consent.
How is it different from microneedling alone?
Microneedling alone relies on a controlled healing response. Microtox adds a neuromodulator step and its product-specific risks.
Which symptoms require urgent care?
Trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing can be life-threatening after botulinum toxin exposure and requires urgent medical attention. Follow the complete safety instructions for the specific product used.
