What to expect
Your clinician examines brow position and frown pattern, reviews your treatment history and maps the muscles creating the lines. Carefully placed intramuscular injections are followed by product-specific aftercare and guidance about symptoms that need prompt attention.
Downtime and results
Temporary redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising may occur. Headache, eyelid drooping and facial weakness are among the possible reactions. Changes may begin within the first several days and continue to develop. Onset, degree of improvement, symmetry and duration vary.

Daxxify questions
Does Daxxify always last six months?
No. Pivotal studies reported a median of about 24 weeks for return to moderate or severe frown lines, so individual duration varied on both sides of that midpoint.
Is Daxxify stronger than another neuromodulator?
That comparison is not clinically useful. Each product has its own formulation, treatment profile and non-interchangeable units. Selection should follow your anatomy, goals and history.
Can I switch from another neuromodulator?
Possibly. Bring the product name, treatment date, areas treated and any adverse effects. Receiving different botulinum toxins too close together can affect safety and interpretation of the result.
What urgent symptoms should I know?
Botulinum toxin effects can spread beyond the treated area. Seek immediate care for trouble breathing, speaking or swallowing; generalized weakness; double or blurred vision; drooping eyelids; or loss of voice. Symptoms may occur hours to weeks after injection.
